Brainspotting (BSP) Consultation
Regina Faridnia, LCSW is a Certified Brainspotting Trainer, Consultant and Practitioner
The consultation process is intended to support BSP practitioners to embody the BSP theory and practice. Generally, meetings are scheduled 2-4 times monthly. BSP consultation is for the purpose of discussing the use of BSP theory and practice, and does not constitute clinical supervision, unless it is occurring in the context of a supervisory relationship. BSP consultees retain all ethical and legal responsibility for their practice of BSP.
Requirements for becoming a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner:

Completion of Brainspotting Phase 1 and 2 trainings in person or online

One Advanced training of your choice (Master Class, Phase 3, Phase 4 or Phase 5)

A minimum of six hours of consultation from a Brainspotting Consultant or CIT. Consultation will include a review of the applicants BSP skills using the Brainspotting Consultant’s report. No more than two of the consultation can count towards certification before completing Phase 2 OR complete a 5-day Brainspotting Intensive with an Approved Brainspotting trainer.

Fifty documented hours of using BSP (use Session Tracking Form-recommended to use one form per client)

Submission of Application for Certification (see below) and payment of $150 fee to Brainspotting Trainings, LLC.

Complete certification within 2 years of completing the final course needed to meet certification requirements.

Certification must be renewed every two years and requires one-hour consultation with a consultant and documentation, in-depth, one of each of the nine Phase 1 and Phase 2 frame set-ups to be submitted at that time and payment of $100 fee to Brainspotting Trainings, LLC.

Consultation for Native Communities and Organizations:
Regina provides consultation for Native agencies who have therapists who are MSW students and/or ASW's working toward licensure. Regina is also available to consult with native agencies and tribal communities about setting up and arranging trauma services and "healing the healer" self-care events for their providers. She can bring a team to your organization and/or tribal event to create a wellness room.
