This is a policy statement regarding payment and cancellation for therapy sessions. The full fee for each session, including the initial session, is due at the beginning of the appointment and can be paid by cash, personal check, or credit card. If you have insurance that covers psychotherapy, I can provide monthly statements/receipts upon request. Co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles are due at the time of service. If a check bounces, you are responsible for the amount of the check and any additional charges from the bank. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance require payment of the full fee, while appointments cancelled more than 48 hours in advance do not require payment. Rescheduling is possible based on availability.
